Circa1972.com is home to an eclectic grouping of artistic endeavors, all things beautiful and odd. My lampworked beads are sold loose/individually, and in pieces of handmade jewelry. Decorative tins accented with Swarovski crystal, lined with silk and felt. Glass pendants encasing created collages, embellished with hand-set crystals. Leather cuffs, in lush colours, held fast with buckles - all adorn these pages.
12 years ago I worked in a bead store and designed jewelry. A friend mentioned I might like to learn to make beads, and introduced me to a local stained glass store owner who was also the inventor of a cost effective torch, called the Hot Head. Well, history now knows her as Cindy Jenkins. Back then, I simply knew her as the super cool glass guru. My love for bead making grew through the years and carried me to where I am now.
